How to find us

Salem B&B is located on the South side opposite the Chacewater sign a quarter of a mile to the West of Chacewater before Scorrier.

Car
If you are approaching from the East, on the A30 from the London direction: Once you have reached Chiverton Roundabout (with turnings to Truro, Penzance, St Agnes and Perranporth) please carry on along the A30 and exit at the next junction for Scorrier & Falmouth. At the top of the slip road turn Left at the Cross Roads Hotel and proceed under the rail bridge to a cross roads. Turn Left towards Chacewater and drive up to the top of small incline and start the short descent East towards Chacewater. We are on your right after 400 metres.

If you are approaching from the West exit from the A30 after bridge towards Scorrier, Falmouth and Blackwater. After 50 metres you reach a mini roundabout, take the 3rd exit (2nd is Dales) towards the East and drive up the hill for 300 metres. Turn right opposite the Mitchell and Webber Showroom, cross the bridge over the A30 and drive cautiously down the narrowing country lane until you meet the Chacewater - Scorrier road just above the Wheal Busy sign. It is the only junction you reach. Turn left down the hill going East towards Chacewater and turn right after 400 metres into the Lay-By.

Going East towards Chacewater, on the B 3298 from Scorrier, you ignore the crossroads to Wheal Busy, and on the short descent towards Chacewater you will see a green area on the left-hand side and then some chevrons on the road. After about 300 metres from the crossroads you need to turn left (to the South) into the bottom of the lay-by opposite the Chacewater Town Sign (on the North side) and drive up the partially made up lane for 100 metres following the signs to the parking area for Salem B&B.

Going West towards Chacewater from Truro on the B3298, proceed through Chacewater village past the last pub and out of the village. Ignore the left hand turn to St Day or Carharrack and from that junction it is 0.3 of a mile to the lay-by on the left hand side where you turn into the bottom of the lay-by opposite the Chacewater town sign. Follow signage for 100 metres.
